The ‘Spirit of the Anzacs’ album is the biggest one week seller so far this year (disregarding compilations).

‘Spirit of the Anzacs’ clocked up 14.005 sales last week after selling 7,421 in the previous week. Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ registered 19,246 sales on January 4 but that was for a sales week ending January 1.

ARIA does not count compilations albums in the album chart so Triple J Hottest 100 Volume 22 did not qualify for the album chart despite selling 22,916 in early March.

’Fifty Shades of Grey’ is currently the biggest selling album of 2015. The soundtrack spent four weeks at number one in February and March.

The top selling no 1 albums so far for 2015 include:

Various – Spirit of the Anzacs (14005)
Soundtrack – Fifty Shade of Grey (10859)
Taylor Swift – 1989 (10800)
