Surviving Eagles To Honor Glenn Frey At Grammy Awards

The surviving Eagles members Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmidt, Bernie Leadon, Joe Walsh along with Jackson Browne will pay tribute to the late Glenn Frey at the Grammy Awards next week in Los Angeles.

The In Memoriam segment will be a bit lengthy during the February 15 show with, as of now, three musical performances honouring those who are now gone.

The latest to be announced will see Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmidt, Bernie Leadon, Joe Walsh and Jackson Browne take the stage to pay tribute to the late Glenn Frey who died on January 18.

BREAKING NEWS: Glenn Frey of Eagles Has Died At Age 67

Henley, Schmidt and Walsh were bandmates of Frey’s in the current version of the Eagles while Leadon was a member from 1971 to 1975 and has joined the band as a special guest on their most recent tours. Jackson Browne was once Frey’s roommate and the two wrote Take It Easy, the Eagles’ first big hit.

Previously, it was announced that Lady Gaga and Nile Rodgers would be saluting David Bowie and the Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry) will be paying tribute to Lemmy Kilmister along with performing a new song, As Bad As I Am.
