Suzi Quatro will return to Australia in November and December 2026 for six headline shows with Baby Animals, followed by four Red Hot Summer appearances alongside an Australian rock line-up.

Suzi Quatro will return to Australia in late 2026 for a national run of headline concerts and Red Hot Summer appearances, with the 76-year-old Detroit-born musician scheduled to perform in New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. The headline dates will feature Baby Animals as special guests, while Quatro will also top the bill at four Red Hot Summer shows featuring different combinations of Jon Stevens, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, Dragon, Screaming Jets and Choirboys.
The Face To Face Touring announcement places Suzi Quatro’s Australian visit across November and December, beginning at the Coliseum Theatre in Rooty Hill on November 14 and concluding at Fremantle Prison on December 6.
The itinerary includes a significant Sydney date at the Sydney Opera House on November 15, followed by performances at Wrest Point Entertainment Centre in Hobart, The Star Gold Coast and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.
The Red Hot Summer dates begin in Brisbane on November 22 before moving to Lake Macquarie, Torquay and the Barossa Valley. The line-ups vary between locations.
For Suzi Quatro, the Australian dates continue a career that has maintained a strong connection with the country since the early 1970s. Her breakthrough single, “Can The Can”, reached number one in Australia in 1973, establishing her as one of the defining rock performers of that era.
Suzi followed it with “48 Crash”, “Daytona Demon” and “Devil Gate Drive”, all of which became major international hits. Her 1978 duet with Smokie’s Chris Norman, “Stumblin’ In”, later became her biggest American chart success, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
Australia also played a major role in the commercial performance of Suzi Quatro’s 1980 album Rock Hard. The album and its title track were certified platinum in Australia, with “Rock Hard” reaching number 11 on the Australian singles chart.
Suzi Quatro’s career began in Detroit in the 1960s. She joined The Pleasure Seekers, the all-female band formed by her sister Patti, while still a teenager and subsequently developed her identity as a bassist, singer and songwriter.
Her move to Britain in the early 1970s brought a recording partnership with producer Mickie Most and the songwriting team of Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman. That combination produced the sequence of recordings that made Suzi Quatro an international star.
Her influence extended beyond record sales. Suzi Quatro became one of the first women to achieve major international recognition in rock while simultaneously leading a band and playing bass. Her example subsequently influenced musicians including Joan Jett, Tina Weymouth, Chrissie Hynde, Kathy Valentine and members of The Runaways and Girlschool.
Suzi Quatro has also maintained a career beyond music. She played Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days, performed in London’s West End production of Annie Get Your Gun, published her autobiography and became a radio broadcaster. She has hosted rock and roll programmes for BBC Radio 2, including Rockin’ With Suzi Q and Wake Up Little Suzi.
Her recording career has continued well beyond her original 1970s peak. Recent releases include No Control in 2019, The Devil In Me in 2021, the KT Tunstall collaboration Face To Face in 2023 and the new studio album Freedom in 2026.
The Australian shows therefore span several generations of Quatro’s catalogue, from the glam rock era through to her contemporary recordings. The Red Hot Summer dates also place her within a broader Australian rock programme, alongside established acts whose own histories overlap with the period in which Quatro first became an international star.
The tour announcement comes as Quatro continues to perform internationally while maintaining a recording career that has extended across more than five decades. Her catalogue includes 16 studio albums listed in the supplied career history through 2017, followed by the later collaborative and solo releases.
The Australian run begins with the six Baby Animals-supported headline concerts before Suzi Quatro moves into the four Red Hot Summer performances. General public tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 12 at 10am local time through Face To Face Touring.
