T.I. Owes The IRS $4.5 Million

T.I. and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle-Harris reportedly owe $4.5 million in back taxes.

The couple have been married since 2010 and together they have amassed an estimated net worth of around $50 million over the years.

But according to PageSix the pair have both found themselves in trouble with the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for neglecting to pay $4.5 million in taxes.

The outlet claims Dead and Gone rapper T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., did not pay up for the 2012 and 2013 tax years. And apparently Tiny owes nearly $1.4 million to the government for the year 2012.

It’s claimed the IRS has issued a lien against T.I. for the amount of $3.2 million.

T.I. and Tiny are certainly not hurting financially, or so it seems. The couple flaunt their wealth on social media accounts often, sharing images of private jets, Rolexes, lavish vacations and other expensive items.

They purchased their 10,460 sq ft waterfront home in Jonesboro, Georgia for $4.26 million, public records show.

T.I. and Tiny found themselves grabbing headlines for a very different type of conflict earlier this year.

The 34-year-old rapper exchanged blows with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas outside a Fatburger restaurant in May.

Speculation is rife the altercation was incited by T.I.’s other half Tiny, as she posted images online of herself partying with Floyd and his entourage in the weeks before the incident.

It is claimed the musician was incensed his spouse spent time with the boxer.

But Floyd insisted nothing romantic ever took place between him and Tiny.

“I been knowing Tiny before T.I.,” the fighter told celebrity blogger Necole Bitchie in a phone interview, via Complex magazine, after the brawl. “I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way. Her friend Shekinah wanted to come to the [May 4th] fight, she brought Tiny with her. They came to the fight.”
