Tash Sultana is heading to New Zealand at the end of 2017 as a headline act for Rhythm & Alps.

Rhythm & Alps has developed into one of New Zealand’s favourite music events. Grabbing Tash now as she is breaking across Australia is a good score for the festival.

“Tash is a modern-day music phenomenon and we’re really excited to bring her to Wanaka for Rhythm & Alps 2017,” Festival Director Alex Turbull says. “She’s huge not only in New Zealand and Australia, but around the world – she’s selling out shows everywhere from Paris to New York. She’s a really unique, high-quality artist and utterly captivating to watch live.”

More acts will be announced in coming months. “We are talking to some brilliant artists who are keen to come down,” Turnbull says. “Rhythm & Alps has an excellent reputation on the international touring circuit as a first-class festival and this reputation enables us to secure some amazing acts,” Alex said.

Rhythm & Alps is in Wanaka’s Cardrona Valley from December 29-31.
