The Cat Empire are inviting musicians around Australia to join them as special guests for the tour.

The invite went out through The Cat Empire’s Facebook page. “We are giving Australian based musicians the chance to join us on stage when we hit the road for our National tour next month. We’re on the look out for special guests from each state we’re traveling to, to perform one song with us at the show closest to your home. All you have to do is audition by video, and we will personally choose the winners. Submissions close on Sept 5…click on the “For one night only” tab here on Facebook, or go to http://thecatempire.com/

“Please note, we already have two fantastic support acts chosen for this tour – Madre Monte and Tom Thum – this is an opportunity for a different person in each of the states that we visit to get on stage and play a song with The Cat Empire”.

Submit your video here http://thecatempire.com/comp/articles/australian-tour.html

The Cat Empire are currently on tour in Europe and will return to start their Australian tour in Perth on September 26.
