The Doors classic compilation ‘Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine’ is to be released on CD for the very first time.

The album was first released in 1972 and was the first Doors compilation to be released after the death of Jim Morrison.

The album was remastered by the band’s longtime engineer Bruce Botnick and released on vinyl this year for Record Store Day.

The CD release of ‘Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine’ will include two former b-sides not featured on the original album. “Who Scared You” appeared in March 1969 as the flip side to “Wishful Sinful,” and a cover of Willie Dixon’s “(You Need Meat) Don’t Go No Further” was paired with “Love Her Madly” in 1971.
