The Moodists To Reform for Hoodoo Gurus Dig It Up

The Hoodoo Gurus talked Dave Graney and Clare Moore into getting The Moodists back together for Dig It Up.

The Moodists were one of Australia’s most revered post-punk outfits between 1980 and 1987.

The Moodists 2013 will feature Graney and Moore and original member Steve Miller with Mick Turner (1983-1984) and Chris Walsh (1985). Turner is now a member of The Dirty Three.

The Moodists will perform at the Melbourne Dig It Up.

Other local acts announced today are Ron S. Peno & The Superstitions, Super Wild Horses, The Straight Arrows, Bored Nothing and Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk.

The local Sydney line-up is Lime Spiders, The Crusaders, Super Wild Horses, The Laurels, Mother & Son and Bloods.

They join the international cast featuring Blue Oyster Cult, Flamin’ Groovies, Buzzcocks and Peter Case of The Nerves as well as The Stems.
