Tyler The Creator Australian Tour Cancelled

Tyler The Creator has cancelled all of his upcoming Australian dates citing “controversy” as the reason he has pulled out.

“We would much rather come to Australia when it isn’t surrounded in controversy. I love my fans there and hopefully I’ll be back soon. Don’t do drugs,” Tyler, the Creator said in a statement.

Cancelled dates are Brisbane September 3, Sydney September 5, Melbourne September 6 and Perth September 8.

Refund Details

TICKETMASTER: Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney
All fans who purchased Tyler, The Creator tickets through the official ticketing agency, Ticketmaster, will receive a refund. Refunds will be available from 12pm AEST Monday 10th August.

If you booked online, over the phone or at a Ticketmaster outlet with a credit card, Ticketmaster will refund your purchase back to the credit card used to purchase the tickets. It can take some time to process, so please give Ticketmaster up to 7 days to process your refund before you start to worry.

If your original card has expired or is no longer valid (prepaid Visa and MasterCard included), you’ll need to get in touch with Ticketmaster’s Customer Service Team via 136 100 between 9am – 8pm AEST Monday to Saturday, or 9am – 5pm AEST Sunday. Please contact Ticketmaster by 5pm Wed 12th August and they will arrange a refund via cheque.

If you purchased tickets at a Ticketmaster outlet using cash or EFTPOS, you’ll need return along with your tickets and the EFTPOS card used to make the booking, if applicable. The outlet staff will help you with your refund.

BIG TOP LUNA PARK BOX OFFICE: Sydney
If you purchased tickets directly from the venue for Tyler, the Creator at Big Top Sydney Luna Park you will receive a refund automatically to the credit card used in the transaction. Contact our box office on 1300 BIG TOP if you have any concerns.

OZTIX: Perth
Ticket purchasers will be automatically refunded to their credit card from 12pm AEST Monday 10th August. Refunds may take 7 to 10 days to process.

If you purchased tickets through an Oztix retail outlet you must return to the place of purchase to obtain your refund.
