Daniel Johns’ new video for ‘Going On 16’ features 43 animated segments from his native Newcastle neighbours, 33 of whom hail from the University of Newcastle.
The project was created for the Newcastle International Animation Festival. Each animator had to fill 5 seconds (55 guide frames). The results were then pieced together to create the new Daniel Johns video.
The video project was directed by Kelly Boulton of Guts Creative who also contributed to the animations.
