Adam Lambert says new solo music is “on the horizon” while Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor take time off following the end of The Rhapsody Tour.

Queen's A Night At The Opera marks its 50th anniversary with the same impact it carried on release in November 1975. The album arrived during a crisis for the band, who were close to collapse due to a punishing contract and limited funds. They had earned hits with Sheer Heart Attack yet lived on tight weekly payments. Brian May lived in a bedsit. Freddie Mercury lived in a damp flat in Kensington. John Deacon was denied a modest loan to buy a house. The frustration led to the band parting ways with Trident and moving to EMI, a decision that would change their future.

Bohemian Rhapsody has once again been named the greatest song of all time by over 6,500 Greatest Hits Radio listeners – the biggest number of votes in the annual countdown ever.

Adam Thompson’s Queen tribute ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ will begin to bring 2019 to an end just as the classic rock band continue what is probably their most successful ever chart year.

Chocolate Starfish singer Adam Thompson has put together the We Will Rock You band to perform the Queen Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack live (plus more) across Australia in November and December.

The remaining members of Queen have "no idea" if their reclusive ex-bandmate John Deacon has seen their Oscar-winning biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
