The Tom Petty Estate has unveiled newly mixed and extended versions of ‘American Girl' and ‘Breakdown' as celebrations continue for the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' debut recordings.

Released in 1976, Alice Cooper Goes To Hell marks its 50th anniversary as a pivotal album in the artist's career, arriving at a moment when Cooper was redefining himself as a solo performer after the breakup of the original Alice Cooper band. The album, his second solo release and ninth studio album overall, continued the narrative introduced on 1975's Welcome To My Nightmare, taking the character Steven deeper into a surreal underworld while expanding the theatrical scope that had become Cooper's trademark.

Jethro Tull's landmark 1976 compilation album M.U. The Best Of Jethro Tull is set for a return on 31 July 2026 as a limited-edition half-speed remastered vinyl release. A collection of personal correspondence written by AC/DC frontman Bon Scott during 1978 is providing a rare firsthand account of the band's relentless touring life at a pivotal stage in its international breakthrough. The archive, assembled by road manager and tour director Dawn M. Blouin and now being offered through RR Auction, contains seven signed letters and cards written from tour stops across the United States and Europe, revealing Scott's reflections on travel, friendships, drinking and the pressures of life on the road.
