Charlie A’Court mixes blues, roots, soul and rock into forming his own unique sound.

Charlie A’Court hails from a rural regional of Nova Scotia in Canada. He grew up listening to Otis Redding and Sam Cooke and starting forming his sounds around BB King, Buddy Guy and Albert Collins.

On a visit to Australia Charlie hooked up with Diesel and together they created the ‘Come On Over’ album. Diesel introduced Charlie to his niece Mahalia Barnes and together they recorded ‘I’m Sorry’.

Charlie’s Australian connection went one step further with the recording of ‘Refused To Fear’, made with Australian blues musician Lloyd Spiegel.

Charlie was recently in Australia and spoke with Noise11’s Paul Cashmere.
