Sydney modern rockers New Empire talk about the hard work leading up to their 2011 chart debut, Simple Plan support and more.

Seemingly out of nowhere, New Empire’s second album Symmetry debuted in the ARIA Charts in 2011. Discovered by Silverchair and Boy & Bear producer Andy Mac, the band kept plugging and touring until their hard work paid off.

Kale, Kyle, Pete and Jeremy from the band chat about their career, from being bribed with pizza, tour revelations and the ambitious new sound to failed experiments, recording at Chris Joannou from Silverchair’s studio and stadium tests.
