Chet Faker has teamed with London based DJ Marcus Marr for an E.P. of new songs titled ‘Work’ to be released in December.

Faker and Marr spent four days at Matt’s South London studio working on the new music and wrote the four songs in the sessions. The combination is Marr’s beats to Faker’s voice.

The collaboration started after “Nick posted my song on Twitter,” said Marr. “I messaged him and said thanks and a conversation started – all nerdy stuff about recording processes. Pretty soon we started exchanging song ideas in voice memos. He then suggested maybe we try and do something together.”

The first taste of the project is titled ‘The Trouble With Us’.
