Nick Murphy Shares Fear Less New Music

Nick Murphy, the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, has released his first song under his own name.

Murphy has made his real-name debut with ‘Fear Less’. While his name may be completely different, the sound remains the same.

Murphy announced his name change last Friday in a Facebook post.

He said, “its been half a decade since I started releasing music as Chet Faker and all of you have been the driving force behind the music since.
theres an evolution happening and I wanted to let you know where its going.
the next record will be under my own name, Nick Murphy.
Chet Faker will always be a part of the music.
This is next”.

Nick Murphy will appear on the Laneway Festival for 2017. The full Laneway line-up will be revealed Wednesday morning (14 Sept 16) after 8am.
