Ringo And His All-Starr Band DVD Set For Release

Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band played the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville last year and all the proceeding were captured for release on Ringo at the Ryman, coming March 11 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Not only was the show on the stage of the hallowed Ryman, but it was also the occasion of Ringo’s 72nd birthday. Joining him was the 2012 version of his All-Starr Band with Steve Lukather (Toto), Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rollie (Journey, Santana), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Gregg Bissonette (Billy Joel’s band) and Mark Rivera (Toto, David Lee Roth). Also on hand for the special occasion were Joe Walsh,Brendan Benson (Raconteurs), Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Kix Brooks (Brooks and Dunn).

The night was filled with Ringo’s own hits, both solo and with The Beatles, and those of his All-Starr Band and guest Walsh.
