Sydney’s Boy & Bear showcased their song ‘Southern Sun’ to America this week, thanks to Conan O’Brien.
“Hey you’ve got a great sound. That’s fantastic, very nice job,” Conan announced as they completed the song on his tonight show
‘Southern Sun’ was the 2013 single from Boy & Bear’s second album ‘Harlequin Dream’, released in Australia in August, 2013.
The album was released through Nettwerk Records in the USA.
Boy & Bear formed in Sydney in 2009. The line-up is Dave Hosking, Killian Gavin, Tim Hart, Jon Hart and David Symes..
Their debut album ‘Moonfire’ was released in 2011. The album was recorded in Nashville at Blackbird Studios by Joe Chiccarelli.
‘Harlequin Dream’ was recorded in Sydney at Alberts Studio by Wayne Connolly.
Conan airs across America at 11/10c on TBS.
