Its hard to believe Troy Cassar-Daley’s first album was released 21 years ago in 1994.

Cassar-Daley has developed into one of the great country stars of Australia. His style has brought country to a new, younger audience and continues a tradition dating back to the days of Slim Dusty and Smokey Dawson alongside contemporary acts like Kasey Chambers and Catherine Britt.

The songs of Troy Cassar-Daley articulate the Australian lifestyle. On ‘Freedom Ride’ he has more contemporary tales to tell.

Troy Cassar-Daley dropped into Noise11.com to perform the title track from his new album Freedom Ride.
