70s New York Dolls Footage Coming On DVD

New York Dolls will release a DVD of footage shot in the 70s by rock photographer Bob Gruen and his wife Nadya.

‘Lookin’ Fine On Television’ was produced from 40 hours of the Dolls footage that the Gruen’s shot using a portable video recorder. They spent three years capturing the footage.

The DVD features New York Dolls performing live at Max’s Kansas City, Kenny’s Castaways, Whiskey A Go Go, the Real Don Steele Show and Rodney Bingenheimer’s English Disco.

The tracklisting is Jet Boy, Personality Crisis, Bad Girl, Human Being, Bad Detective, Subway Train, Trash, Vietnamese Baby, Lookin For a Kiss, Who Are The Mystery Girls, Private World, Babylon, Frankenstein, Chatterbox, Jet Boy

New York Dolls are touring Australia at the moment. They played The Boroughs Festival in Melbourne on Saturday.
