Aussies Miss Out On 2016 Grammy Awards

Courtney Barnett, Keith Urban, Hiatus Kaiyote and Tame Impala have missed out on Grammy Awards for 2016.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Monday, February 15, 2016.

Tame Impala ‘Currents’ was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album but lost to Alabama Shakes ‘Sound & Color’.

Hiatus Kaiyote was in for ‘Best R&B Performance’ for ‘Breathing Water’ but missed out to The Weeknd for ‘Earned It’ from Fifty Shades of Grey.

Keith Urban was nominated for ‘Best Country Solo Performance’ for ‘John Cougar John Deere John 3:16’ but Chris Stapleton ‘Traveller’ took the award.

Courtney Barnett was up for Best New Artist with James Bay, Sam Hunt and Tori Kelly but lost to Meghan Trainor.
