Amazon.co.uk has revealed its ‘Best of 2015’ album list, with The Magic Whip by Blur taking pride of place at #1.

The Brit-poppers take the top spot after a huge year which included a comeback gig at British Summer Time Hyde Park.

Other albums in the top ten include Jamie XX’s In Colour and Alabama Shakes’ Sound and Colour. The list was compiled after Amazon Music scoured a range of critical reviews of hundreds of 2015 releases, deducing a list of 100 of the year’s most acclaimed albums.

The top 10:

01. Blur – The Magic Whip
02. Ibeyi – Ibeyi
03. Kendrick Lemar – To Pimp a Butterfly
04. Jamie XX – In Colour
05. Father John Misty – I Love You, Honeybear
06. Alabama Shakes – Sound and Colour
07. Susanne Sundfer – Ten Love Songs
08. Sleater-Kinney – No Cities To Love
09. Sufjan Stevens – Carrie & Lowell
10. Lonelady – Hinterland
