Bruno Mars is “nervous” about the release of his new song When I Was Your Man.

The singer has spoken of his anticipation ahead of his album Unorthodox Jukebox hitting stores.
The star posted a photograph of the record’s artwork via his Twitter account, where he shared how important the lyrics to one song in particular are to him.
“Soon you guys will hear a song I wrote called When I Was Your Man. I’ve never been this nervous. Can’t explain it,” Bruno tweeted.
Bruno’s poignant song lyrics will be unveiled at midnight tonight when the track is released on iTunes.
Fans can hear the album in its entirety for one week on iTunes from Tuesday December 4. The ten-track offering from the musician will then go on sale for pre-order on December 10 with the full official release of the title on December 11.
The American singer-songwriter and producer gushed about how much he is looking forward to fans hearing the new material.
“You have no idea how excited I am. Let the countdown begin!” Bruno exclaimed.
The superstar will finish his 2012 tour dates with a performance held at London’s O2 Arena on December 8.
