Chance The Rappers Cancels Splendour In The Grass With Next To No Notice

Chance the Rapper will not perform at Splendour In The Grass. Instead of appearing at his scheduled Splendour In The Grass show today, he is still home in America.

Chance The Rapper’s sudden withdrawal from Splendour In The Grass has pissed off his Australian fans. The lack of detail in the cancellation and the forced juggle of the Splendour headline spot has fans angry for good reason.

A short statement for Chance The Rapper says, “It is with great regret we announce that Chance The Rapper will not be coming to Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass. Unfortunately, due to illness he is unable to fly.”

Splendour in the Grass appear to be handing the news well. “Splendour wishes Chance a speedy recovery,” is the official response.

Hilltop Hoods will headline Splendour In The Grass in place of Chance the Rapper today.
