Dave Grohl Breaks His Leg During Swedish Concert

Dave Grohl has had to stop Foo Fighters show in Sweden after breaking his leg during while performing.

The Foo Fighters were performing on Friday night in Gothenburg, Sweden when, during the second song, Grohl fell off the stage. After a number of minutes on the ground, he told the crowd “Hey, ladies and gentlemen. I love you, but I think I just broke my leg. I really broke leg.”

He went on to ask that things be shut down, saying that he was going to the hospital but that the group would be back to perform a complete show. Shortly after, though, he told drummer Taylor Hawkins to take it away, confusing the crowd as to whether there was going to be a show that night or not.

It appears that Grohl talked with medics, either while he was still on the ground or after he got backstage, and made the decision that the show was going to go on. Dave eventually made his way back out on stage and told the crowd “I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream.” He completed the show, sitting in a chair while a medic occasionally checked the condition of his injury.
