Entrepreneur rock star Dave Stewart will head up for new advisory board of Music Gateway.
Music Gateway was founded for Jon Skinner as a B2B Platform bringing together music industry creative and professionals. It facilitates collaborations, hiring of music staff and pairing A&R with talent.
“Music Gateway’s been on my radar since first meeting Jon during its infancy and I am really impressed with what they have achieved in such a short period of time. It’s a pleasure to be on board helping them progress to the next stage of their development and exciting to be a part of something which has huge potential in aiding the music industry across the board,” Dave Stewart said in a statement.
The platforms A&R department has placed over $150,000 of songs into the Asian market. The company also recently launched a Sync and Song pitching tool.
Skinner plans on evolving the business into other sectors such as film, TV, Education and Gaming. “We are taking the company to the next level and it’s a pleasure to have the likes of Dave, Daniel, Andy and the rest of the board in place to help steer our development and growth across the creative sphere,” he said.
Stewart will head the new board consisting of 12 industry leaders with notable inclusions such as R ob Nunn – CEO of Future Group and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2012), Andy McQueen – Chairman of Notting Hill Music Publishing, D aniel Jackson – CEO of CORDWW, Robert Singerman – VP of International Publishing at LyricFind, A ndrew Pepper – CEO of Snowhill Capital, R upert Rawcliffe – Partner at SRC and M artin Hess – Ex-VP of HP Computers.
