Ed Sheeran has unveiled the official video for his new single ‘Don’t’.

The clip follows one man’s journey from rags to riches through a series of encounters with the residents of LA. Ed once again teamed up with director Emil Nava and makes a cameo appearance or two ‘ watch it here now below.

‘Don’t’ started its life as merely a riff on Ed’s phone, then following sessions with the acclaimed producers Benny Blanco and Rick Rubin, the track turned into the defiant, soulful anthem that it is today. The Don’t EP, released in the UK on 24 August, will include a Rick Ross remix of the track, plus ‘Be My Husband (live from Glastonbury)’ and ‘Everything You Are’. Pre-order link here.

It was announced yesterday that Ed’s second studio album ‘x’ has maintained its position at number 1 in the UK albums chart for the sixth week in a row; the first to do so since 2005. It has now overtaken Coldplay to become the biggest selling album of the year in the UK.

Later this year, Ed will embark on a headline nationwide tour of the UK/Ireland for the first time since the Autumn 2012.
