It Took 25 Songwriters to Write The Five Grammy Song Of The Year Nominations

It took an incredible 25 songwriters to write the five songs nominated for Grammy Song of the Year this year.

Think about this … there are 11 players in a football team but it takes 25 people to write FIVE songs?

Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’ actually brought the average down. He wrote the song with Dion Wilson. However, the winning song ‘That’s What I Like’ by Bruno Mars had EIGHT FRIGGIN SONGWRITERS. How the hell do they divvy up that trophy, six weeks each and then pass it on?

‘Despacito’ has six songwriters, ‘Issues’ had five songwriters, ‘10800-273-8255’ had four but it took Christopher Brody Brown, James Fautleroy, Phil Lawrence, Bruno Mars, Ray Charles MCullough II, Jeremy Reeves, Ray Romulus and Jonathan Yip to put together the 3 minutes and 31 seconds of ‘That’s What I Like’. What exactly do they all do? Does anyone actually know?
