Meat Loaf’s ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ creator Jim Steinman latest work ‘Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical’ will be performed in Australian arenas in June 2020.

‘Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical’ features songs from the trilogy of albums. It is a retelling of Peter Pan set in the post-apocalyptic Manhattan (now renamed Obsidian).

The story follows lead character Strat, the leader of The Lost, who falls in love with Raven, the daughter of tyrant rule Falco.

Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is produced by Michael Cohl, Tony Smith, David Sonenberg, features book, music, and lyrics by Mr. Steinman, direction by Mr. Scheib, choreography by Emma Portner, with musical supervision and additional arrangements by Michael Reed, set design by Jon Bausor, costume design by Mr. Bausor & Meentje Nielson, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, video design by Finn Ross, sound design by Gareth Owen and orchestration by Steve Sidwell.

• “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” – Raven, Sloane, Falco and Strat

In a statement Paul Dainty said, “I can’t wait to bring this new arena rock musical to Australia. The theatre show blew audiences away in the UK, Canada and USA and given Jim Steinman’s iconic masterpiece Bat Out Of Hell is the highest selling album of all time in Australia, we know audiences here are going to love it.”
