John Lydon Takes PiL Out For UK And US Dates

Public Image Ltd will be on the road starting September 18 for dates in England, Europe and North America, all in support of their upcoming album What the World Needs Now… (out September 4).

This will be PiL’s first trip to North America in three years but, before they hit our shores on Halloween night, they have 1-1/2 months of shows in Scotland, England, Wales, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Belgium.

What the World Needs Now… is the band’s tenth studio album and their first since 2012’s This is PiL. The first single, Double Trouble, was released today.

The current edition of the group includes founder John Lydon, drummer Bruce Smith, guitarist Lu Edmonds (both joined 1986) and bassist Scott Firth (joined 2009).
