The line-up for WOMADelaide 2012 has been announced with Johnny Clegg, Eddi Reader and Blue King Brown some of the names that leap out of the list.

Clegg is South Africa’s biggest male star. He was last in Australia in 2009. Scotland’s Eddi Reader was formerly the lead singer of Fairground Attraction and had the hit ‘Perfect’ in 1988. Australia’s Blue King Brown have become one of the most popular live acts in the country.

The WOMADelaide line-up also features Tinariwen, The Master Drummers Of Burundi, Shivkumar Sharma, Sharon Shannon, Diego Guerrero Septet, First Aid Kit, Groundation and Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Dates are March 9 to 12, 2012 at the Botanical Park in Adelaide.
