The Firework singer, real name Katheryn Hudson, orchestrated the event for her older sister, Angela.
The ladies went all out ahead of the 29-year-old’s birthday this Friday, according to UsWeekly.

Katy reportedly hosted the party on Saturday, December 1 at the Los Angeles home she shared with ex-husband Russell Brand.

The house is currently up for sale.

An insider tells the tabloid friends and family ate grilled cheese, soup and of course, cake, from a local caterer and danced to music from the Eighties and Nineties.

Katy, 28, is said to have decorated her face with red and white rhinestones for the occasion.
It was not clear if her boyfriend John Mayer accompanied her to the soiree.

The pair have been dating since July, following her divorce from comedian Russell Brand.

Last month it was reported the couple were taking their relationship to the next level and were looking for a home to share in Los Angeles.
