Kaya Stewart, the teenage daughter of Eurythmics star Dave Stewart, will release her debut album soon through Warner Brothers Records.

Parts of the album were recorded at John McBride’s Blackbird Studios in Nashville. The studio has been used by Bon Jovi, White Stripes, Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Megadeth, Big & Rich, Kings of Leon and Keith Urban.

Kaya made her live debut last year supporting her father at a show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Dave commented on his Facebook page this week, “excited about how KAYA MUSIC 1st album for Warner Bros. Records is sounding it’s nearly finished and mixing is in full swing.”
