Meredith 34 has announced its 2026 lineup, bringing Dijon, Underscores, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The Dandy Warhols, Killing Heidi, Hiatus Kaiyote, Show Me The Body, Fat Dog, Suzanne Ciani and a broad selection of Australian and international artists to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from 11 to 13 December. The announcement comes as the second round of Meredith’s ticket ballot opens, with entries closing at 10:34pm on Tuesday 18 August.
The 34th Meredith continues the festival’s long-standing single-stage format, with the event taking place over three days and two nights at the Nolan Farm on Wadawurrung Country near Meredith in Victoria. The 2026 edition runs from Friday 11 December until Sunday 13 December.
The ballot system has been used by Meredith since 2007 to manage demand for tickets. Organisers say there are substantially more people seeking tickets than places available, making the ballot the principal method of distributing admissions.
Among the most significant international bookings is Dijon, the Los Angeles-based artist born Dijon Duenas. Meredith will mark his first Australian performance, following a catalogue that includes the albums Absolutely and Baby. His Meredith appearance will feature his live band.
Underscores, the project of April Harper Grey, will also make a major festival appearance. The American artist has developed a hybrid electronic sound drawing from hyperpop, punk, R&B, dubstep and pop. Her album U is central to the current live project.
Australian guitar music receives a major booking with the return of Eddy Current Suppression Ring. Brendan Suppression, Mikey Young, Brad Barry and Danny Young reunite for Meredith 34, ten years after their previous Meredith appearance. The band first played the festival at Meredith 15 and returned in 2009 before their 2016 comeback performance.
The Dandy Warhols will make their first appearance at the Supernatural Amphitheatre. The Portland band brings a catalogue spanning Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia, Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars and the songs Bohemian Like You, We Used To Be Friends and Godless.
Killing Heidi provide another significant Australian booking. Ella and Jesse Hooper formed the band in Violet Town in 1996 before their breakthrough with songs including Weir, Mascara and Live Without It. Their 2001 album Reflector became one of the defining Australian releases of its period. The group announced a break in 2006 and are now returning to Meredith two decades later.
The lineup also spans electronic music, contemporary R&B, hardcore, experimental composition and Indigenous Australian music. D Train vocalist James ‘D Train’ Williams will perform at the Supernatural Amphitheatre, with Melbourne’s Mondo Freaks also involved. Williams is closely associated with the 1980s post-disco classic You’re The One For Me.
DJ Seinfeld will perform a DJ set, while Detroit producer Marcellus Pittman joins the bill. Pittman is a member of Three Chairs alongside Moodymann, Rick Wilhite and Theo Parrish, placing him within a significant lineage of Detroit house music.
Hiatus Kaiyote return to Meredith after their previous appearance in 2014. The Melbourne group’s combination of neo-soul, funk, jazz, hip hop and electronic music has developed an international audience, with Nai Palm remaining central to the band’s sound. Show Me The Body will bring New York hardcore to the festival, while British punk-electronic group Fat Dog are also booked.
The bill extends into experimental electronic territory with Suzanne Ciani, the pioneering composer and synthesist whose work has been closely associated with the Buchla 200 modular synthesiser. Other acts include Twisted Teens, Docker River Band, Tara Clerkin Trio, Ella Thompson, Sophia Stel, Miles Nautu, Media Puzzle, Spike F*ck, Blue Communications, Hana, Jorg Kuning, Ouss Ouss and a Supernatural Sound System set from Boorloo artist and broadcaster Ozzie.
Meredith remains independently operated and without commercial sponsors. The festival says ticket revenue also supports organisations in the Meredith district. The ticket price covers camping, parking, booking fees, car passes and BYO facilities.
The second ballot round is now the immediate next step for prospective attendees, closing at 10:34pm on 18 August. Meredith 34 will then take place at the Supernatural Amphitheatre from 11 to 13 December 2026.
