Mick Fleetwood Blues Band Sets US Dates

The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band will tour the western part of North America this September.

The band, made up of the Fleetwood Mac veteran along with Rick Vito, Lenny Castellanos and Mark Johnstone, will be playing originals and standards plus songs from Mac’s earlier albums when they were a Blues-Rock band.

Mick said of the tour “Over my career I’ve been called a pop star and a rock star, yet in my inner heart, I will always be part bluesman. On my journey from blues to a life of rock ’n’ roll, I’ve always remembered where I started.”

Mick Fleetwood has had a number of side projects over the years including Mick Fleetwood’s Zoo, The Mick Fleetwood Band and a number of solo albums. In 2008, he recorded Blue Again! as The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, a live album covering music by Peter Green, Rick Vito and the standard Shake Your Moneymaker.
