Muriel’s Wedding The Musical is on its way to Melbourne.
The show stars Natalie Abbott as Muriel Heslop and Elizabeth Esguerra as her best friend Rhonda. The cast also includes David James (The Boy From Oz, The Sound of Music) as Bill Heslop, Pippa Grandison (Mary Poppins, We Will Rock You) as Betty Heslop, Jacob Warner (The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet) as Perry Heslop, Caleb Vines (The Wizard of Oz, How To Train Your Dragon) as Malcolm Heslop and Manon Gunderson-Briggs (Muriel’s Wedding The Musical original Sydney season) as Joanie Heslop.
The Muriel’s Wedding The Musical Australian cast recording, featuring new songs from Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall, was released in 2018.
Muriel’s Wedding stars Gary Sweet, Maggie McKenna, Madeleine Jones and Justine Clarke.
The 21 song recording has been released through Sony Music.
