ARIA Awards Are All Pop With No Crackle

The 2015 ARIA Awards will be held in Sydney this Thursday. Once again the show is all about TV ratings and totally misrepresents the Australian Music Industry.

The ARIA Awards have longed lacked credibility and this year will not change the perception.

Each year the show pays detailed attention to what people are people are wearing and this year is no exception. Four hosts have been announced just for the Red Carpet part of the show.

Presenters have been chosen for their brand name, not their achievements of the past year. As usual the weight of the token international stars

ARIA Awards 2015 Presenters and Performers Announced

The ARIA Awards will take place in Sydney this Thursday with a pop heavy line-up misrepresenting the overall Australian music industry, but hey, its all about TV ratings, not music achievements.

Watching the rest of the broadcast is only recommended for pop music fans. As with previous years, Jazz, World and Theatre awards don’t qualify for TV ratings and expelled from the show.
