Natalie Merchant Ill, Postpones US Tour

Natalie Merchant has had to postpone her current US tour due to illness.

The final nine dates of Natalie Merchant’s summer tour in support of her new album, self-titled, album have been postponed due to illness.

The tour opened on July 3 but all dates from July 13 on have been postponed. There’s no word on the type of illness from which she is suffering, but she has also postponed separate appearances and album signings.

09/10 – Milwaukee, WI – Pabst Theater (originally scheduled for 07/25)
09/11 – Chicago, IL – Chicago Theater (originally scheduled for 07/24)
09/13 – New York, NY – Beacon Theater (original date)
09/15 – Boston, MA – The Shubert Theatre (originally scheduled for 07/16)
09/17 – Tarrytown, NY – Tarrytown Music Hall (originally scheduled for 07/19)
10/21 – Burlington, VT – Flynn Center for the Performing Arts (originally scheduled for 07/15)
10/23 – Portland, ME – State Theater (originally scheduled for 07/18)
10/25 – Westhampton Beach, NY – Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (originally scheduled for 07/20)
12/10 – Washington, DC – Lincoln Theatre (originally scheduled for 07/13)
12/11 – Munhall, PA – Carnegie Music Hall of Homestead (originally scheduled for 07/22)
