Nirvana’s surviving members Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear and Dave Grohl played a small, intimate show with special guests in Brooklyn in the early hours of Friday morning.

At a metal bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, about 200 people witnessed a complete set of Nirvana classics with vocals from Joan Jett (The Blackhearts), J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr) , Annie Clark (St Vincent), John McCauley (Deer Tick) and Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth).

Joan Jett had performed with Nirvana earlier in the evening for the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. New Zealand’s Lorde also joined Nirvana at the Hall of Fame induction.
