Kanye West claims he can ring important people whenever he wants, including President Obama. Obama says otherwise.

President Obama was a guest of the Jimmy Kimmel show this week. In response to being Kanye’s BFF Obama responded, “I’ve met Kanye twice. The first time when I was a Senator and he was with his mom. He had just gotten big. He is from Chicago. They wanted to meet and he was very soft spoken, very gracious. (audience laughs). He hadn’t come into his own. About six months ago he came to an event. I love his music, he is incredibly creative but I don’t think I have his home number”.

Kimmel will broadcast from SXSW in Austin Texas next week on March 20. His special guests for the night will be Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Paisley, Matthew McConaughey, Willie Nelson, Spoon, Kevin Hart and Tony Romo.

What does President Obama think of Austin? “Austin is a great town. One of the best towns in the country. Great food, great music, great people,” Obama answered.
