The new Pesky Bones video ‘My Radiance’ features Ali Barter.

Boom Crash Opera’s Pete Farnan created the Pesky Bones project in 2016 with a stack of his famous friends, including Paul Kelly, Deborah Conway, Tim Rogers and Paul Capsis.

Pete says ‘while the album traverses many styles, this song pushes rock to the fore – it’s “do not go gentle – burn brightly” stuff; absolutely perfect for the edgy beauty of Ali’s voice’.

Farnan says of Ali Barter ‘she is insanely musical; able to pick up melodic nuances in a flash. I pitched a few songs at Ali but in my heart I knew this was the one for her – it’s combination of beauty and rawness. She’s got this slight edgy distortion in her voice, plus an uncanny ability to pin a melody and hit those high notes.’

Paul McCartney’s Give My Regards To Broad Street Turns 40

Paul McCartney’s 1984 movie ‘Give My Regards To Broad Street’ was universally panned in its day. The production, 100% funded by Paul, became a money pit. It lost him millions, had hideous reviews and now both the movie and soundtrack album have been long out of print. But was it that bad? Actually no. I thought it was much better than The Beatles ‘Magical Mystery Tour’.
