Pharrell Predicts More Miley Madness

Pharrell predicts that we haven’t seen the last of the madness of Miley Cyrus.

Pharrell coyly implies that there’s more Miley Cyrus madness to come.

The Get Lucky singer collaborated on Miley’s latest number one album Bangerz and isn’t he fazed by her recent behaviour.

He attributed her shocking performances to growing up in the glare of the media spotlight and trying to find a voice for herself.

“She’s still going, and at the end of the day, man, all I can say is you’ll see. She’s an old soul and has had merely 21 years on this planet and has lived most of it in front of a camera, and I think we’re all seeing the effects of somebody who’s got something to say and is figuring out how she wants to say it,’ Pharrell told MTV News.

Pharrell, 40, has featured on some of the biggest songs of this year, including Daft Punk’s Get Lucky and Robin Thicke’s smash hit Blurred Lines.

This earned him the gong for Hitmaker of the Year at yesterday’s GQ’s Men of the Year awards, held in Hollywood.

But with a string of number ones under his belt Pharrell is far from being cocky, and passes the credit to the artists that he’s worked with.

“I don’t take credit. I just don’t do it. It’s not necessary. If anything, I’d just like to highlight my appreciation for it all,’ he said.

One collaborator who disagrees with Pharrell’s hit making credentials is Azealia Banks, who teamed up with him on her song ATM Jam.

Taking to her Twitter account, she blamed the lack of success of the track on Pharrell’s recent mainstream resurgence.

“The reason ATM jam did poorly is because pharell changed his mind about wanting to be associated with me after he had his lite skin comeback (sic),” she posted on Twitter before deleting.

‘But f**k it what’s new? Azealia banks having to scrape claw and fight for what she wants. This is normal for me now,’ she continued.
