R.I.P. Twilight Zone Theme Composer Robert Drasnin 1927-2015

Robert Drasnin, who composed the theme to the TV shows ‘Twilight Zone’, ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ and ‘Mission Impossible’, has died at the age of 87.

Drasnin was suffering from complications from a recent fall.

His credits include scores for ‘Lost In Space’, ‘Hawaii Five-O’ and ‘Police Story’. Drasnin also worked on music for ‘I Spy’, ‘Daniel Boone’, ‘The Time Tunnel’ and ‘Cannon’. He was also the musical supervisor for ‘Gunsmoke’ and ‘Wagon Train’.

Bob Drasnin is survived by his wife Marlene, daughters Morgen and Jennifer and a son Michael.
