Radiohead Play First Aussie Show In Brisbane

Thom Yorke's reimagining of Radiohead's Hail To The Thief and Shakespeare's Hamlet will make its London premiere at the Barbican Theatre following sold-out seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Factory International.

Blur bassist Alex James will bring his Britpop Classical production to Australia this November, presenting a 90 minute celebration of the songs that defined the British guitar boom of the 1990s. The show combines a rock band, session vocalists and a full symphony orchestra, with music from Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Supergrass, Radiohead and others, reworked for a large scale live production.

British band Radiohead have condemned the unauthorised use of their song Let Down in a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement social media video, issuing a blunt public statement demanding its removal.

Radiohead have postponed the first two concerts of their Copenhagen residency after Thom Yorke was diagnosed with an extreme throat infection, a condition that has made it impossible for him to sing. The British group, who returned to the road in November after a seven year break, were due to open a four night run at the Royal Arena on 1 and 2 December, yet both dates have now been pushed back to 15 and 16 December.
