Rolling Stones Cancel Perth Concert

The Rolling Stones first Australian concert in Perth tomorrow (Wednesday) has been cancelled following news of the death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

Perth presenting station 96FM reported the cancellation of tomorrow’s concert on the 8:30am news bulletin.

Scott was found hanged in her Manhattan apartment at around 10am Monday (New York time).

L’Wren Scott was the fashion designer to the stars. Her clients included Madonna and Nicole Kidman.

The Rolling Stones arrived in Perth on Monday for the Australian leg of the 14 On Fire tour to mark their 50th anniversary.

Mick Jagger is believed to be on his way to New York. The Stones are reported to have left the Hyatt Perth. Details about the remaining Australian dates.
