Rolling Stones Top 2014 Box Office Stats

The Rolling Stones had the biggest single concert run of 2014.

The band played three shows at the Tokyo Dome on February 26, March 4 and 6 for a total of 147,493 people taking in a gross of $27,946,751 reports Billboard. To get that total, that means the tickets for the shows averaged $189.48 although the true range was $781.63 down to $97.70.

Paul McCartney was second for the year, playing at the same venue on November 18, 19 and 21, 2013 (the survey year runs November to October) before 146,845 and taking in $23,493,800 or an average of $159.99 per ticket.

From there on the list, One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer are next. Overall, One Direction/5 Seconds of Summer took nine of the top 25 while the Rolling Stores have four and Paul McCartney, Vasco Rossi and Beyonce each have two.
