Selena Gomez Suggests ‘Question Your Sexuality’

Pop star Selena Gomez loved the rumours that she was in a lesbian relationship with Cara Delevingne.

The 23-year-old is good friends with the British model and Cara helped Selena celebrate her 22nd birthday last year (14) on a yacht in St.Tropez, France. The pair were photographed sharing a shower together which sent the gossip sites into overdrive that there was more to their relationship than just friendship. While some stars would be outraged at such claims Selena found them amusing.

“I didn’t mind it. I loved it,” she confessed to PrideSource. “She’s incredible and very open and she just makes me open. She’s so fun and she’s just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life.”

Selena’s most high-profile romance was her on-off relationship with Canadian singer Justin Bieber. She has also dated Nick Jonas and actor Taylor Lautner but the star admitted that she had “absolutely” questioned her sexuality at times.

“I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that,” she said.

Selena insists she doesn’t have time to date at the minute as she’s focusing on her career and new album Revival. This will no doubt be a big disappointment for her gay BFFs who she says are obsessed with her love life.

“Oh gosh, they’re more into it than I am. Honestly!” she laughed. “Part of the reason I probably went out on a few dates is because of them. They’re just like, ‘Go! Go!’ I’m like, ‘No!’ They’re all about it, for sure. Whoever I’m with or like or don’t like, they’re all about dissecting it and putting me with other people.”

Selena will get her head back in the dating game at some point though, as she admitted to Z100’s Elvis Duran on his radio show on Tuesday (13Oct15) that she dreams of having a family one day.

“I love what I do,” she said. “I can’t imagine doing anything else – but ultimately my goal is to be happy and have a family. That’s my life.”
