Spirit Of The Anzacs Tour With Jack Thompson, Lee Kernaghan Announced

in Live,News

Country star Lee Kernaghan will tour with an all-star cast including Jack Thompson for the ‘Spirit Of The Anzacs’ tour to mark the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC’s landing at Gallipoli.

‘Spirit Of The Anzacs’ will feature appearances from John Schumann, Jack Jones, Lisa McCune, Harrison Craig and Fred Smith.

The accompanying album features Lisa McCune, John Schumann, Sara Storer and Fred Smith, with Guy Sebastian, Sheppard, Jon Stevens, Jessica Mauboy, Shannon Noll and Megan Washington.

The ‘Spirit of the Anzacs’ single is based on Prime Minister Paul Keating’s eulogy to the Unknown Australian soldier.

“Mr. Keating’s immortal words, “He is all of them. And he is one of us.” led us to write a song that pays tribute to all the men and women who have served and sacrificed on behalf of our country across 100 years of ANZAC history,” Lee Kernaghan said in a statement.

The Spirit of the Anzacs Arena tour will start in Newcastle on 21 August, and then head to Brisbane, Wollongong, Sydney, Tamworth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
