Stiff Little Fingers 2020 Australian and New Zealand Dates for David Roy Williams

by Paul Cashmere on May 21, 2019

in News

When Stiff Little Fingers arrive in Australia in February 2019 for David Roy Williams it will be exactly 41 years and two weeks since the release of their debut album ‘Inflammable Material’ in 1979.

Stiff Little Fingers formed in Belfast in 1979 after starting out as a schoolboy band originally named after Deep Purple’s ‘Highway Star’.

The original era of Stiff Little Fingers lasted until 1983 when they broke up after the ‘Now Then…’ album, an album they consider their best.

The 2019/20 line-up features original singer Jake Burns and bass player Ali McMordie. Guitarist Ian McCallum joined in 1993. Drummer Steve Grantley has been with Stiff Little Fingers since 1996.
