The War On Drugs will play the Laneway Festival in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore in 2018.

Kurt Vile founded The War On Drugs in 2005 but only hung around for the first two albums before going solo. His new album is a duet record with Australia’s Courtney Barnett.

The most recent album for The War On Drugs is ‘A Deeper Understanding’. The fourth The War On Drugs album, produced by lead singer Adam Granduciel, debuted at no 5 on the Australian chart. Granduciel was also a member of Vile’s other band The Violators.
